Description:
Our Company is searching for a detail-oriented person who will assist in the day-to-day operation of our Derby Gold Transfer Station (DG) and oversee the material flow while operating heavy machinery. In addition, this position will be responsible for a comprehensive Quality Assurance program that will enable the Company to operate at the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency. The Site Foreman will report to the Operations Manager of All-In Removal. We offer opportunities for advancement along with competitive pay, as well as a collaborative, supportive work environment. Reinforce a culture of Safety within the staff, first and foremost Making sure that our customers (and ourselves, for delivery to the transfer station) are getting what we’re paying for. This entails counting bucket loads for each truck being loaded at DG, and having the driver do the same. Recordings of trucks being loaded are recorded and stored on a hard-drive that’s maintained in All-In’s office at DG. Sampling
- for volume and weight
- the different products we ship out of DG. Making sure that any cans containing manure that get dumped at DG get a proper wash before re loaded with shavings. Making sure cans are being inspected by laborers to ensure they are fit for service. Ensure any blended jobs are mixed with the right ratios. Maximize efficiency of operations out of Derby Gold
- pre-loading cans; Planning ahead on your mixes for semi loads that are coming to get loaded that day or the next.
Ideally at the end of every shift, material has been preloaded to be used for the next day’s orders. Supervising the maintenance of the location’s equipment. (loader and yard trucks) Making sure laborers are staying on task Work with dispatch to prioritize loads of shavings needed at the transfer to ensure that location continues to operate at peak efficiency; (3) 4) Monitoring weather conditions to ensure that the material gets tarped if necessary Managing and counting material with dispatch at the end of each month for inventory purposes Assist in special projects as necessary
Requirements:
High school diploma or higher preferred Class A or B CDL highly preferred Ability to operate and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary. Excellent time management, mechanical and problem-solving skills.
