• $70k annual Requirements of position We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Machine Shop Supervisor for our client in Opa-locka, FL.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, results-driven professional with a proven track record of overseeing daily operations within the Machine Shop Department, including welding, painting, and metalizing. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating workflow, while optimizing manufacturing processes to align with company objectives as well as maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, in compliance with the rigorous demands of the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide a team of machinists and technicians to ensure high-quality production output. Plan and assign work schedules; manage production timelines and materials procurement. Implement and oversee rigorous quality control standards in compliance with aerospace industry regulations. Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance workflow and resolve production issues. Oversee procurement and inventory of materials, tools, and shop supplies. Promote employee growth through mentorship, training, and performance development. Conduct equipment inspections, coordinate maintenance, and ensure operational readiness. Work with Supply Chain and Account Management to prioritize parts and materials. Report on production metrics, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Handle labor management duties, including payroll form submission and time approvals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, Associate or bachelor’s in engineering or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive or aviation machine shop environment. At least 2 years in a supervisory role. Bilingual

• English/Spanish required.

Strong knowledge of manual machining, welding, metalizing, painting, and general shop practices. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AS-9110 preferred.
