PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR 2.9 2.9

out of 5 stars 3235 NW 62nd Street, Miami, FL 33147 GENERAL PURPOSE Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall production output for the assigned shift. The position is also responsible for shift’s efficiency, Quality Control, Safety and the overall supervision of the shift’s workforce. Crown Linen operates 365 days a year, therefore a flexible work schedule is required. No specific industry experience is required as Crown Linen provides leadership training.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises work performed in the facility areas including receiving, cleaning and distribution of laundry. Supervises schedule adherence, assigns and directs work, and appraises and motivates for performance. Must effectively communicate business expectations to all team members. Manages assigned teams by effectively developing, mentoring, and assessing the performance of staff. Maintains a safe working environment and continually trains employees in safety awareness. Advises management with hiring and termination procedures, and performance evaluations as needed. Provides daily information for Weekly Operating Reports, Key Performance Indicators, payroll, Worker’s Compensation incidents, etc. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
