Production Supervisor – Food Industry B&A Gourmet Hialeah, FL 33018 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee operations within our food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and safety, ensuring that all processes adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production lines while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. Train and mentor staff on operational procedures. Monitor production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet demand while minimizing waste. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any food safety issues or non-conformance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency within the plant. Maintain accurate records of production metrics, employee performance, and compliance audits. Oversees maintenance program Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food processing industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including CGMP and HACCP standards. Familiarity with sanitation practices specific to food production environments. Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations. Mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment is a plus.
