THE WORK

The selected candidate will be a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of Non-Exempt (20+) employees’ cable and wire prep assemblers. Position responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the team, managing personnel, staffing, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement activities. The Candidate will also lead/facilitate a Performance Management team (PMT).

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience in a Manufacturing environment. Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing/production methodologies. Working Knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, ESD, 6S, etc. Two or more years of management/supervisory experience. – Ability to work second shift 3:30pm- 2:00am

Desired Skills:

Good people skills and patience to develop future production leaders. 5 or more years of experience in cable and wire prep

IPC/WHMA 620

Certified is a plus. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Effective problem-solving and time management skills.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
