We are currently seeking an experienced Dirt Foreman to lead our earthwork operations on active construction sites.

Position Summary:

The Dirt Foreman will oversee and coordinate all activities related to grading, excavation, and other earth-moving operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands the importance of production goals, site safety, and crew efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate site crew in earthwork and grading operations Read and interpret site plans, cut/fill maps, and GPS data Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and within specifications Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and loaders Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors Maintain daily reports, timecards, and production logs Monitor equipment and material needs for assigned tasks Uphold and enforce company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in civil construction, with 2+ years in a foreman or lead role Proficient in dirt work, grading, and excavation practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to read plans and use layout tools or GPS systems Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and job site compliance Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required Why Join Us?
