Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a school project in Oviedo, FL. This opportunity is for seasoned professionals only — no entry-level candidates. While JLA clearance is not required for the initial assignment, candidates are strongly encouraged to obtain a JLA badge for future projects. Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome, and all candidates must be ready to complete a skills test on Day 1.
Job Duties:
Install, fabricate, and secure HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation
Perform layout, measuring, and cutting tasks with accuracy
Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
Work efficiently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of sheet metal installation experience
Must bring own tools and wear full PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses, and boots)
Must complete a skills test with the crew on the first day
JLA badge not required initially, but willingness to obtain is preferred
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Spanish speakers welcome
