Assembly Supervisor 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 4800 US Highway 301 S, Register, GA 30452 We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assembly Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations within our assembly department. This position plays a key role in driving team performance, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. As an Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating workflow, managing personnel, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals. You will provide support in training, coaching, and developing team members, while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry safety standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the assembly line to ensure production schedules are met Monitor employee performance and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards Train and guide new team members on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and equipment use Identify and resolve production issues in real time to minimize downtime Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow Ensure proper documentation of attendance, shift reports, production metrics, and quality checks Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and internal safety protocols Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate others Solid understanding of production workflows, safety requirements, and quality standards Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with production software and reporting tools is a plus Strong communication skills (verbal and written); bilingual in Korean/English is a plus but not required Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed
