Reporting to the Evisceration Manager, you will utilize your core skills in team supervision to lead a dedicated team. Your premium skills in employee orientation and recruitment will be essential for building a strong workforce. Additionally, your relevant experience in time management and organizational skills will contribute to the seamless operation of our processing facility, driving productivity and quality in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve key operational performance areas Analyze and recommend process improvements Act as resource to the 1st Processing Manager in identifying inefficiencies and solving them Work with team members to develop good working relationships and high moral Coach employees in production Correlate with 1st shift and/or 2nd shift USDA on a daily basis Facilitate information across all shifts and department Personally monitor all KPI and cost/lbs data on a daily basis Implement all WOG yield measures as directed by the
Plant Manager Requirements:
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments.
Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications :
Communication skills (listening, feedback, presentation) Computer skills: complex spreadsheets and powerful yet simple presentations Teambuilding and the ability to work through others to accomplish tasks Basic human psychology Management and coaching skills Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operate a raw processing facility and an understanding of HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, equipment, and procedures Strong supervisory and team management skills Proficiency in customer service Excellent organizational and time management abilities Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
