The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations, production planning, and supply chain management. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing processes and ensuring smooth operations, adherence to standards, and high-quality service delivery. This role demands strong leadership, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Food Production Supervisor will work under the Food Production Manager and closely with various teams to ensure efficient operations. Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of food production, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet demand while optimizing resources.
• Oversee supply chain management, including inventory control and procurement processes.
• Utilize SAP systems for tracking production metrics and managing inventory levels.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in food safety, production management, and equipment operation.
• Fabricate and assemble equipment as needed to support production processes.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management regarding production efficiency. Qualifications
• Proven experience in food management or a related field, with a focus on production.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with production planning techniques and supply chain management practices.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
