Day Shift (10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, with some Friday hours as needed)

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on leader to oversee our plating department. Depending on experience, this opportunity is available as either a Manufacturing Supervisor – Plating or Manufacturing Manager – Plating . In this role, you will ensure smooth daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and uphold high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. You will supervise a team of 12 and be responsible for scheduling, process control, production planning, and team development. This is a leadership opportunity for a motivated professional who excels in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate daily operations within the plating department Schedule and allocate personnel efficiently to meet production goals Monitor and control all plating processes, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications Take corrective action to optimize processes and resolve issues Supervise activities related to electroplating, rack stripping, finishing, and inspection Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the department Ensure compliance with quality systems and support audits as needed Train team members on process standards, control plans, and safety protocols Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance activities Provide leadership and coaching to enhance team performance and morale Ensure laboratory staff are trained in current analytical techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a chemical-related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

For Supervisor Level:

Minimum 2 years of plating supervision experience in a manufacturing setting

For Manager Level:

Minimum 2 years of plating management experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of electroplating processes and quality control procedures Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and safety standards Skilled in basic math functions and use of a calculator
