JOB SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor must be safety consciouswith ability to enforce plant policies, rules, and the collectivebargaining agreement while ensuring the manufacturing processremains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows andsupervising production staff.

JOB DUTIES

• Supervising productionemployees in a unionized environment.
• Scheduling, workflowplanning, coaching, and training.
• Creating and adhering toproduction processes.
• Enforcing plant policies, rules, and thecollective bargaining agreement.
• Organizing, monitoring, andprioritizing tasks to meet production goals.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS &QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, orrelated field, or equivalent supervisory experience in amanufacturing environment preferred.
• Two (2) years of supervisoryexperience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Excellentorganization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillswith a proven record of safety awareness.
• Ability to work anyshift with variable and significant overtime, including weekends.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing including Kaizen and 5S.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
• Abilityto write reports legibly and accurately.
• Strong computer skillsincluding MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
