Production Lead Confidential Douglasville, GA 30154 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee and coordinate daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a hands-on approach to managing production processes. This role is essential in ensuring that assembly lines run smoothly, products are fabricated efficiently, and safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of production workers on the assembly line to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Coordinate daily production schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards. Train new employees on proper assembly techniques, safety protocols, and the use of hand and power tools. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the factory environment to maintain a safe working atmosphere. Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials for production. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify areas for improvement in efficiency or safety. Skills Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting, with a strong understanding of production processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble components using hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving production goals. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
