Production Manager North Georgia Textile Supply Co Inc 1112 Turkey Mountain Rd, Armuchee, GA 30105 The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production records, managing load information, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of labor on the production floor. This role includes ensuring that outgoing loads are properly documented, secured for transportation, and coordinating logistics with the shipping department to meet customer delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing both paperwork and people.

Responsibilities Daily Production Records:

Maintain accurate daily production records for shredders, grinders, and flake lines. Report discrepancies or inefficiencies as needed.

Inbound Load Management:

Record and distribute inbound load information to relevant personnel to ensure smooth processing.

Outbound Load Management:

Ensure all paperwork for outgoing loads is completed accurately and promptly emailed to the correct buyer. Maintain comprehensive records for future reference.

Load Security:

Verify that all outgoing loads are properly secured for transportation, adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Shipping Coordination:

Coordinate with the Calhoun shipping department to schedule timely pickups and deliveries for customers, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

Labor Management:

Oversee laborers to ensure they are assigned to the correct tasks and materials. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and production standards.

Safety and Compliance:

Continuously monitor the production floor to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Conflict Resolution:

Address and resolve disputes between laborers to maintain a harmonious and productive working environment.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between production, management, and the shipping teams to ensure clear and timely communication of load information and production goals.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Reporting:

Provide regular reports to management on production progress, labor performance, and shipping schedules. Requirements Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in recycling or plastics. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with assembly line processes and factory operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
