This is a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager with a background in electroplating to take ownership of a key department that’s receiving $8 million in capital improvements . What You’ll Do Lead and supervise daily plating operations (zinc-focused), including electroplating, rack stripping, finishing, and inspection Manage a team of 12 on the shop floor, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met Oversee production planning and scheduling for optimal workflow Monitor chemical processes and implement corrective actions to optimize performance Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality systems Support and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules Train and equip lab personnel with up-to-date analytical techniques Ensure all team members follow proper work instructions, safety procedures, and process specs What We’re Looking For – Must-Haves ✅ 2+ years of supervisory experience in plating within a manufacturing environment (Manager level requires 2+ years at a managerial level ) ✅ Chemical-related education (Bachelor’s preferred, but not required with experience) ✅ Proven ability to lead both people and processes in a fast-paced industrial setting ✅ Familiarity with chemical lab supervision and plating-related safety and quality protocols ✅ Comfortable working in a loud, hands-on manufacturing environment ✅ Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours when needed
