Team Lead/Assembly Swiftemp Alpharetta, GA 30004 Team Lead – Assembly Operations We’re looking for a hands-on and motivated Team Lead to oversee our Assembly department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supervising a group of Assemblers, maintaining workflow efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll serve as a key player in coaching the team, ensuring quality standards, and supporting process development. Monday –

Pay Ranger:
$28-30ph depending on experience and interview results.
Key Leadership Duties:
Lead and supervise a team of Assemblers, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and safety standards. Champion lean manufacturing principles and support implementation of new process initiatives. Mentor and train new hires, offering performance feedback and supporting their development. Maintain tool inventory management and promote proper tool usage within the team. Encourage and engage in continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization. Provide coaching and development for team members to support skill growth and maintain a positive team environment. Escalate any procedural violations, personnel issues, or improvement areas to leadership.
Core Assembly Responsibilities:
Assemble kiosk cabinets by installing internal components such as wiring, motherboards, brackets, and peripherals. Manage and monitor necessary parts, hardware, and tool inventory required for each build. Perform diagnostics and rework on items returned from Quality Control. Assist in documenting and refining standard operating procedures for assemblies. Participate in cycle counts and assist with general warehouse tasks. Conduct verification checks for hardware/software functions, component serials, and complete visual inspections. Support cross-functional tasks as needed across departments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assemble PC-based game boards and install associated software including USB CATS, SAMS, RAMS, and hard drives. Run initial power-on tests to confirm functionality of newly assembled boards. Update and verify game revisions to maintain software accuracy. Generate production work orders in SAP for each completed game unit.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related electronics field preferred. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly, working with circuit boards, wiring, and hardware components. Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience. Comfortable using hand and power tools in a production setting. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to maneuver fully assembled cabinets (135-350 lbs.) using dollies or carts.
