Production Lead
Sample Factory – Calhoun, GA
Monday-Friday
3:30pm-12:00am
Sample Factory is seeking a proactive and experienced Production Lead to oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role will ensure efficient production workflows, uphold safety and quality standards, and support employee development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and has a strong grasp of production processes.
Responsibilities:
Supervise workers operating machinery and fixtures to produce product samples.
Monitor and assess employee performance; provide constructive feedback and corrective action as needed.
Maintain production schedules while ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Interpret job specifications and assign duties accordingly.
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate quality control and traceability documentation.
Enforce safety regulations and ensure a compliant, hazard-free work environment.
Requisition materials to meet production goals and prevent downtime.
Communicate clearly with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Provide training and coaching to develop team skills and ensure safety compliance.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (1-3 years).
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to learn and use ERP systems and other production-related software.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a team-first mindset.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
