We are currently seeking an Production Supervisor to join our awesome team! The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all daily operations of the Production Assembly Line and Art Shoppe. This role ensures that products are manufactured, assembled, and packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Supervisor oversees production team members across multiple workstations including order assembly, printing, mat cutting, framing, and packaging. This role involves managing workflow, team development, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. This position reports directly to the Operations Leader. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, train, and coach team members to meet daily production goals. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance check-ins and monthly one-on-ones to support growth and alignment. Encourage cross-training and skill development across teams. Schedule and assign daily tasks to team members to meet production timelines and customer order demands. Monitor production schedules and reallocate labor as needed for shifting priorities or special orders. Oversee the entire production flow, including art printing, mat cutting, framing, quality control, packaging, and shipping. Manage special, high-value, and priority orders ensuring quality control, proper packaging, and timely shipping. Review print output, mat cuts, framing finishes, and final packaging to ensure quality standards are consistently met. Ensure materials and supplies are available at all stations Coordinate inventory needs with purchasing and supply chain tams Maintain and monitor equipment used in production and the Art Shoppe and arrange for maintenance when needed. Conduct inspections of finished goods and ensure high standards of craftsmanship and consistency Analyze production KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities. Implement and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives within both departments. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve production issues or errors, aligning solutions with company values and goals. Work closely with the Operations Leader, Customer Care, and Operations to ensure seamless production and delivery. Report production updates, challenges, and wins to leadership. Contribute to team meetings and lead daily huddles when required. Complete additional duties and projects as assigned by the Operations Leader. Competency Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and other Attributes) Comprehensive understanding of production operations, print processes, and assembly workflow Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of inventory and materials planning. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Technical aptitude to manage and troubleshoot production equipment and tools. High attention to detail and a commitment to product excellence. Flexible and hands-on leader who leads by example. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook Suite and Outlook. Education, Training, Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or equal experience. Professional development or certifications in production or leadership are assets. Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or fulfillment environment. Experience working with art or custom framing is highly advantageous. Proven success in managing teams, improving workflows, and maintaining high-quality standards.
