The Manufacturing Supervisor-Plastics will oversee the daily operations of the plastics manufacturing department, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.
This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and ensuring that manufacturing goals are met in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the plastics manufacturing department
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes
Implement production schedules and monitor performance against goals
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure equipment and processes are operating efficiently
Train and mentor production staff on best practices in plastic manufacturing techniques
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues
Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of injection molding, blow molding, and fabrication processes
Experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with IATF standards
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Benefits
