$85,000-$125,000 per year (Based on experience) About the Role Summit Skilled Solutions is urgently hiring a Fabrication Manager to lead the daily operations of our fabrication shop in Georgia . In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and safe production of metal components and structures. From overseeing the fabrication process to mentoring the team, your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver top-tier craftsmanship to clients. This is a direct hire position starting day one with our client. Candidates must live within commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:

Supervise and direct fabrication team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Production Management:

Plan fabrication schedules, allocate resources, and ensure on-time completion of projects.

Quality Control:

Review all fabricated components for adherence to specifications, blueprints, and safety standards.

Safety Oversight:

Enforce and maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.

Training & Development:

Train, mentor, and upskill team members to ensure operational excellence.

Blueprint & Drawing Review:

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy. Auto

CAD & CNC

Use AutoCAD to generate shop drawings and oversee CNC programming and operation. Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on fabrication experience. 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role within a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and the ability to produce accurate shop drawings. Experience with 3D design software is a plus. 5+ years of experience setting up, operating, and programming various CNC machines. Expert in MIG, TIG, and stick welding (10+ years). Excellent knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related shop management software. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary:

$85,000-$125,000 (DOE)
