This position will work E shift on a 10 hour, four day schedule with 3 day weekends every week. (Occasionally some Friday’s will be needed) We are looking to hire a Production Department Supervisor with proven experience in manufacturing and the ability to coach and develop a successful team. What you’ll do Lead production employees to ensure job duties are performed safely and effectively Conduct safety meetings Complete reporting and scheduling duties Ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance Facilitate open communication to keep production efficiency. Maintain accurate attendance and payroll records. Responsible for developing a strong team environment Manage turnover Ensure quality to minimize scrap and rework Initiate corrective and preventive action when necessary Identify, record and report problems relating to the product, process and quality Minimum qualifications 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Excellent communication skills Ability to work with diverse workforce in both an office and manufacturing environment Must be detail oriented and well organized Possess the ability to motivate others and cultivate teamwork Ability to multitask Experience with Safety, Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement preferred Previous supervisory experience If you are ready for a manufacturing career, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
