The hours for this position are 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (2-2-3 rotating shedule)At Dura-Line we create solutions that better connect people and information across the globe. Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor is a critical position within our Plant Operations. The right candidate will possess strong leadership skills tocoach, mentor, and motivatetheir team while determining the best practices and implementing the practices on the shift. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground, engaging and involved leadership role. The Production Supervisor will lead by example and ensure to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production. Problem-solving skillswill be key in this role!

Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherenceHold the team accountable for following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards.

Your commitment to being a reliable and punctual team playerApproximately 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing roles, having direct reports and shop floor accountabilityExperience with scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls increasing site efficiency, employee engagement, and turnover reductionStrong leadership skills, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and the ability to establish priorities with a sense of urgencyFamiliar with workforce scheduling, overtime management, and other labor deployment practicesExcellentmulti-tasking skillswith the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritize between what is urgent and what is importantHands-on experience working in a lean manufacturing plant (5S, tier meetings, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Gemba walk lead standard work) is a plusResults-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver nformation, whether good or bad.

Associate degree or higher preferred but not requiredProficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to complete required daily and monthly reports on attendance, machine efficiency, scrap, process improvement, etc. (ERP/SAP experience is a plus!)The compensation for this position will typically range from $62,000 – $101,000/yr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
