What your day will look like:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, and train associatesPlan, assign, and direct workAppraise performanceAddress complaints and resolve problemsBuilds positive associate moraleDirects leadership for bottling/canning lines in the production of scheduled manufacturing quotas through identification and remediation of efficiency issues. Supervises subordinates involved in the same across the Production, Quality Assurance and Maintenance departmentsAdministers and applies all International Organization for Standardization ISO22000, Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Safety, Environmental and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements through the department, ensuring proper documentation and action plan follow-upFacilitates production department staff meetings, generating action plans impacting production department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Presents departmental metrics and action plans in plant management staff meetingsEstablishes and maintains goals in the areas of quality, waste efficiency and safety for all operations teamsActively coaches all team members promoting continuous improvement and overall team development and cross training, including the supervisory levelPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed:
