When on a jobsite, the Foreman oversees the work and may assist the crew with a variety of tasks including preparing equipment and materials, physical labor and excavation work. As the point of reference of both laborers and superintendents, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Crews will be required to work in all weather conditions and must be prepared for both extreme hot and cold temperatures. Travel is expected and per diem and hotels are compensated by the company. Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of workers
Establish effective working relationships with clients and crew members
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to superintendents and request advice and assistance from the superintendent on matters pertaining to materials, sequencing, scheduling and personnel.
Oversee the setup of traffic controls, safety equipment, and CIPP equipment at the job site
Operate construction equipment
Ensure the site is left clean and that all equipment and tools are brought back from the jobsite
Ensure that employees comply with all government and corporate safety procedures.
Safely drive various vehicles (box vans, trucks with trailers, etc.) to haul crews and equipment Competencies Must have strong verbal, listening and written communication and collaboration skills.
Capable of giving clear instructions and training others.

Time Management. Requirements Proven experience as a foreman (3-5 years)
High School Diploma/GED Required. Must be 18 years of age.
Hold a valid Driver’s License
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
Understanding of pipelining rehabilitation industry
Must be articulate and literate and able to produce accurate daily reports
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
Ability to work overtime and out of town.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays – Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
