Crew Supervisor Position Available In Alcorn, Mississippi

This position will strive to achieve exceptional product and process knowledge in every element of the area. This knowledge will be focused on team development of the crews. Critical to this effort will be developing, through interaction, the total skill sets of the Material Handler. The goal is to have the skills developed to a point that the incumbents can provide support and relief as a functioning group.

The incumbent reports to the LaCosta Facility Manager and receives work direction from this Manager and GNW Leadership Team based on circumstances and conditions that might exist. The GNW Process Leader provides leadership and coordination for the Material Handling crew working through the Team. She/he must possess an exceptional understanding of quality management/quality process, environmental management, operational process knowledge and business skills. This individual will continuously strive to become an expert on the customers, products, processes, quality systems, machinery and controls in the warehouse area.

She/he must communicate directly with GNW Leadership Team, Leadership, audit and/or regulatory personnel to ensure agreed upon performance expectations are met or exceeded.

A critical element of this position is to effectively work with the total team in the completion of assigned duties and requirements.

Coordinate development and management of effective training databases for the Crews. •

Qualifications:

•This position must: 1.) Have the ability to lead, direct, train, develop, evaluate, and motivate Associates; 2.) Be able to work overtime as required; 3.) Have the ability to manage oneself with little direct supervision; 4.) Be available by phone in order to respond to quality/systems issues; 5.) Have an acceptable performance level including attendance.
