Production Supervisor Morgan Brothers Millwork Laurel, MS 39440 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to help lead our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with the ability to work with others to complete the goal at hand. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the assembly line to ensure timely completion of production goals. Monitor the use of hand tools and power tools to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency. Train new employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs or mechanical issues. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste. Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control measures, and employee performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards within the manufacturing facility. Experience Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with assembly line operations and warehouse logistics. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and interact with various departments.
