PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
– Feather Lane 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Canton, MS 39046 Breading Line Supervisor – Reports to
Superintendent Description:
Supervise line production employees in the breading department (approx. 20-40). Verify daily payroll time sheets for all employees in the department. Be responsible for daily paperwork such as: absentee sheets, vacation requests, and disciplinary action forms. Comply with all written corporate and plant policies. Be familiar with the various types of machinery in the leg quarter department. Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies. Follow the written specifications for packaging and labeling of products. Physically inspect products for both naturally occurring and processing defects. Natural occurring defects i.e. bruises and blood spots. Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out-of-spec products. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their plant management official.
The abnormal situation would be:
Product tampering Willful product adulteration Unauthorized employees in restricted areas A situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake
Physical Demands:
Working in a cold/wet/damp environment. Standing/walking 100% of the workday. Lifting various weights on an as-needed basis.
