- How You Will Make an
Impact:
- The Manufacturing Supervisor will be leading a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals including: efficiency, problem resolution, workplace culture, process improvement, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- A Day in the
Life:
- + Lead team to meet or exceed operational goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity + Implement process improvements by applying PPI, 5S, and Lean methodologies + Advise the daily work to ensure schedule completion while leading utilization and efficiency.
+ Trend production metrics to identify areas of improvement. + Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellence + Ensures effective performance evaluations are prepared and delivered for all employees + Coach and mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve departmental goals and objectives + Make technical and business risk decisions under real-time pressure + Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to + Initiates investigations into process failures, product failures, and safety incidents + Interacts cordially with diverse internal functional groups to tackle moderately sophisticated problems

Education:
- + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred. + High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
- + Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing + Direct supervisory and people management experience

- + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.
