Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Lexington, United States. As a key member of our production leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing night shift operations, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Supervise and coordinate night shift production activities to meet quality standards and production targetsManage and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environmentImplement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulationsMonitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lean manufacturing techniquesCollaborate with other shift supervisors and department heads to ensure seamless 24-hour operationsAnalyze production data and prepare detailed reports for upper managementTrain and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivityTroubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams as neededEnsure proper inventory management and resource allocation during the night shiftPromote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production teamQualificationsProven experience (3-6 years preferred) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in night shift operationsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teamsIn-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principlesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisionsStrong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities efficientlyProficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office SuiteSolid understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and production schedulesStrong mathematical skills for analyzing production metrics and preparing reportsAdaptability to change and willingness to drive continuous improvement initiativesMechanical aptitude is a plusBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)Willingness to work night shifts and occasional overtime as requiredAdditional InformationFor nearly 70 years, MasterBrand has been shaping the places where people come together, enriching lives and creating meaningful memories for our customers.
