The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality control throughout all stages of production. Responsibilities Supervise daily shop operations and manage a team of skilled workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate project scheduling and oversee the implementation of timelines using tools such as Prolog and Primavera. Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project plans, facilitating effective communication among team members. Conduct construction estimating and budgeting for projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Implement quality control measures throughout the production process to maintain high standards of workmanship. Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth. Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation in ProCore for tracking purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and software such as Prolog and Primavera. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating practices. Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while promoting safety and quality standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting and resource allocation. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
