The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
This role plays a critical part in streamlining processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production processes and reduce waste.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for production.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Monitor production metrics and report on performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within an aerospace or military manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
Ability to solve problems and make critical decisions under pressure. Benefits
