Fence and Guardrail Foreman 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28217 We are seeking an experienced Fence and Guardrail Foreman to lead crews in the installation of fencing, guardrails, and safety barrier systems for construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of highway safety systems, and the ability to manage job sites according to quality and safety standards. This role involves direct supervision of field crews, coordination with other departments, and adherence to project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation of fences, metal guardrails, highway safety barriers, and similar structures. Coordinate field crews, assign tasks, and monitor project progress. Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and local regulations. Communicate project updates, needs, and issues to the project manager. Operate related tools and equipment when needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a foreman in fencing or guardrail installation projects. Hands-on knowledge of tools, machinery, and materials used in the trade. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus. Willingness to work outdoors and travel as required.
