Supervisor – Production (7p-7a) Position Available In Rutherford, North Carolina

•Description•+ Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plant environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead. + Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group. + Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies. + Train personnel to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery, performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel. + Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards. + Complete all required checklists and paperwork for each shift. + Provide feedback to the Plant Manager or Human Resources on the performance of the department and assist in performance reviews of the personnel they lead. + Maintain attendance records in order to reconcile payroll information. + Set print and gauge printers. + Ensure weekly Behavioral Observations and Stop Cards are being completed consistently and correctly. + Take initiative to continue to grow mechanical knowledge by volunteering for special projects. + Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays. + Ensure incoming shift comes into a clean work environment with equipment in good working order, even if this requires you to stay over past the end of your shift.
