Position Overview:

The Compliance Testing Helper II and Compliance Testing Foreman I roles are part of a structured career progression within our Compliance Testing team. These roles focus on learning, performing, and eventually leading petroleum equipment testing operations in alignment with state and federal regulations. Compliance Testing Helper II As a Compliance Testing Helper II, you will begin to independently perform basic petroleum equipment testing tasks while deepening your understanding of industry standards and field services. This role is foundational and prepares employees for leadership through hands-on experience and professional development.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with and begin to perform petroleum equipment testing procedures. Learn testing protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance practices. Support Testing Foremen and Technicians in the field. Complete daily logs and assist in preparing test documentation. Demonstrate progress in certifications and field knowledge.

Milestones:

Obtain relevant state licenses (based on geographic location). Receive positive performance evaluations from crew leaders and management. Eligible for promotion to Compliance Testing Foreman I. Compliance Testing Foreman I As a Compliance Testing Foreman I, you will lead testing crews, ensure the completion of all daily tasks, and uphold compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires a thorough understanding of testing operations and the ability to supervise and mentor helpers on the job.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise daily petroleum equipment testing activities. Ensure all testing complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Lead and train assigned helpers to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of all required reports. Act as the point of contact for field issues and support compliance audits as needed.

Benchmarks:

VeederTec ATG Technician Course. Tank Testing Certifications. Cathodic Protection Certifications. Out-of-State Certifications (if applicable). Maintain all certifications previously required in Helper II role. Additional local or state-mandated certifications.

Consistently demonstrate leadership and technical proficiency. Receive positive evaluations from crew leaders and management. Eligible for promotion to Compliance Testing Foreman II. Qualifications (applies to both roles, as appropriate): High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Willingness to travel and work in varying environmental conditions. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
