Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor Job Description The Engineering Supervisor – Manufacturing is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing all projects from the manufacturing stage through delivery to the customer. This role entails guiding and mentoring direct and indirect reports as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems. The position supports the growth and sophistication of the Manufacturing department. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage project schedules with customers, internal teams, and the supply chain. Supervise, lead, hire, train, and mentor manufacturing engineers, technicians, and interns. Perform advanced manufacturing techniques and instruct the manufacturing team on such techniques. Troubleshoot production issues with project team members. Collaborate with the design team to generate new, creative solutions to bring product concepts to completion. Conduct testing and theoretical analysis of products to determine product safety, efficacy, and conformity. Essential Skills Expertise in project scheduling. Proficiency in quoting. Strong background in manufacturing engineering. Experience with CNC machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field. 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. 5+ years of supervisory responsibilities.
