This role involves managing food processing operations, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and quality control. The Food Manager will lead a team dedicated to producing safe, high-quality food products while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols. Duties Oversee daily food production operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Implement and monitor sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Manage the fabrication, processing, and packaging of food products in compliance with regulatory requirements. Train staff on food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and preparation techniques. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with CGMP and HACCP guidelines. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues related to product quality or safety. Maintain accurate records related to production processes, sanitation checks, and compliance audits. Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the facility. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, including FDA regulations. Experience in food production processes and equipment operation. Familiarity with CGMP and HACCP principles. Ability to effectively sanitize work areas and equipment. Proficient in fabricating and processing various food products. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team. Capability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing food safety and quality while fostering a culture of excellence within the team. The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
