Production Supervisor (Lead)-Sewing Bedding Industries of America 1375 Jersey Avenue, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and sewing techniques (mattress industry is a plus). As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve optimal results. Must be bi-lingual (Spanish/English). Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities and manage the workflow within the production area. Train and mentor team members on sewing techniques, fabricating processes, and garment construction. Ensure all equipment, including sewing machines, is properly maintained and operational. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in finished products. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any production issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular inventory checks of materials and supplies needed for production. Requirements Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in mattress production. Proficiency in sewing machine operation and garment construction techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.
