What You’ll Do Manage daily operations
Install and repair refractories in steel vessels (furnaces, ladles, and tundishes)
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee refractory repairs and replacements
Collaborate with different departments to ensure successful accomplishments of company goals
Communicate important shift information, production issues, concerns and needs with proper personnel
Utilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionality
Analyze, treat & establish counter measures for failures
Plan and attend required staffing and safety meetings
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need Minimum 5 years of Refractory Experience
Experience managing people and budgets
Experience in Inventory Control
Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Data entry in
SAP/QMOS
experience
Ability to track, chart, and improve processes
Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
