A little about the position:

Job Summary Ensure the successful production actives of a single shift. Manage the daily production related to KPI’s for singular shift. Support a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham’s Core Values.

Some of What You Will Do:

+ Supervise operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper headcount + Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety first culture throughout the facility + Maintain high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process + Follow training and cross training program and implement for production staff + Responsible for production meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery with the least amount of overtime required + Oversee and verify each stage of the process is properly using the correct amount and type of material + Check production output and identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements to address the issues with employees + Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager + Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees + Facilitate daily shift meetings + Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the

(Qualifications) + Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; 2 year technical/associate degree preferred. + Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering related + Computer and keyboarding skills -Spreadsheets, Database and Word Processing + Experience with payroll systems is a plus + Ability to read blue prints + Must be able to work overtime when necessary + Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal + Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience + Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations + Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand; walk; bend; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms, prolonged sitting, repetitive computer use, ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly + No travel required for this position Why should you come work with Us?
