Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Working Excavation Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day-to-day operations on excavation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to operate equipment, manage the crew, ensure job site safety, and maintain production goals.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Supervise and lead excavation crews on site
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.)
• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and blueprints
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and protocols
• Monitor production to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Conduct daily safety talks and equipment inspections
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in excavation, with at least 2 years in a foreman or leadership role
• Proficient in operating excavation and earthmoving equipment
• Strong understanding of site grading, trenching, shoring, and utility installation
• Ability to read construction plans and use laser/GPS equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
