We are looking to add a dedicated Production Supervisor to our growing team to ensure the continued excellence of our operations.

Job Overview:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the production floor, working closely with the production staff to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety. This role requires a strong understanding of SQF, GMP, Organics, as well as USDA and FDA regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. Ensure all products meet the company’s high standards for quality and food safety. Maintain and enforce compliance with SQF, GMP, Organics, USDA, and FDA regulations. Train and develop production staff, providing ongoing feedback and support. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and quality. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all food safety and quality standards. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to resolve issues and improve processes. Prepare and maintain production reports, records, and documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of production policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols. Assist with staffing, including recruiting, hiring, and training new employees. Track employee attendance, overtime, and performance. Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of materials and products. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food processing facility. Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, USDA, FDA, and organic regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Flexibility to work weekends during the busy season as needed.
