GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible forassuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest levelor productivity in the most cost efficient manner possible whilestill maintaining the specification of the customer. Make sure allreporting requirements are met for area of supervision.

ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Trains and provides an environment foremployees to achieve their maximum quality and productivityperformance in their respective positions. Plans and schedulesmanpower, materials, product and machines to most effectively andefficiently utilize departmental policies and procedures fairly andequitably to maintain standards established for safety, quality andoverall company personnel satisfaction. Manages employeeperformance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.

Promotes department and company goodwill through pro-activeemployee communication and employee involvement. Investigates, incooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement,cost reduction, method improvement, yield control and equipmentmaintenance and provides suggestions. Promotes safety throughoutarea where crew is working.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

3 ormore years of previous Supervisory experience. Poultry or foodindustry experience a plus. Previous leadership skills with 20 ormore employees. Effective communication both orally and in writing.

Capable of independent decision making. Must have basic computerknowledge. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Bilingual(English/Spanish) preferred. Must be able to work assignedhours/days – including occasional weekends – as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED; College Degreein related field preferred. EOE, including disability/vets
