Production Lead Huth Technologies, LLC Sarver, PA 16055
Position Summary:
The Production Lead is responsible for the efficient management of departmental operations to meet production schedules and performance standards. This includes overseeing personnel, ensuring quality compliance, driving productivity through hands-on leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and assign tasks to maximize machine and personnel efficiency. Monitor performance to ensure adherence to production plans. Maintain minimum 70% billable time personally and ensure team meets 85%. Deliver technical training on operations, visual method sheets, setup sheets, and work instructions. Monitor and uphold quality standards in accordance with customer specifications and print requirements. Address quality issues and coordinate corrective actions. Communicate job expectations, procedures, and performance targets clearly. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Report on variances, backlog (for 1st shift), and on-time delivery metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree preferred; minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. Prior leadership/supervisory experience strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, etc.). Proven ability to perform under pressure and maintain deadlines.
