Job Description
Production Supervisor Phillips Mushroom Farms 325 South Jennersville Road, West Grove, PA 19390 We are looking for a supervisor to supervise the growing process and the employees in an effective and efficient way without compromising product quality, food safety, or work safety. 1. Communicate with the sales office regarding daily orders throughout the day. 2. Inform harvesters of the daily mushroom order. 3. Record product harvested by item for each worker. Enter information into spreadsheet to calculate each worker’s bonus. 4. Assign workers to daily tasks, rotate if necessary. 5. Monitor workers throughout the day, making sure the job is done correctly and completely. 6. Monitor all worker’s attendance. Verify who is in each day. 7. Must understand all company policies and procedures. Inform workers of any company updates, information, or policy changes. 8. Ensure workers are working in a safe manner. Complete and submit any injury report forms to safety manager. 9. Train new workers on job duties and company requirements. 10. Ensure that quality product is being harvested. Ensure mushroom is harvested in correct manner and according to customer specifications. 11. Monitor knife washing station and basket washing station to validate presence of chlorine, document in knives/scissors sanitation log. 5am-5pm six days per week.
