We are looking for a Lumber Yard Supervisor to join and lead our yard operations team. What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily lumber yard operations, ensuring efficient workflows and top-notch customer service Supervise, train, and schedule yard team members Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and organization Assist customers, builders, and contractors with expert knowledge of building materials and product availability Ensure safety protocols and equipment maintenance are consistently followed Operate forklifts, saws, and other yard equipment as needed Work directly with the inside sales team to coordinate deliveries and stock levels Lead by example in both customer service and hands-on yard work Hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and _ a 1/2 day on Saturday rotation _.

What You Bring:

Prior supervisory experience in a lumber yard or building materials yard Strong understanding of lumber, windows, doors, and millwork products Experience with forklifts and yard operations equipment Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage a dynamic team Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 lbs.)
