We have provided precast concrete structures and enclosure systems for a wide variety of projects including educational, government, multi-unit residential, retail, sports complexes/stadiums, and parking garages. Located in Denver, PA The Leadperson for the Forming Crew is responsible for daily planning, directing, training, implementation and general supervision of his/her assigned area. Accountable to meet production schedules within budgeted allocations, and to meet the above responsibilities while insuring conformance to safety and quality standards. Accountable to maintain a demonstrated ability to perform all the functions/operations of those positions within the department: Form builders 1,2 & 3. This is a 1st shift position, Monday-Friday with a 4:00AM start time.

General Duties:

Training and development of coworkers
Ability to plan and coordinate tasks to maximize forming efficiency
Ability to direct a crew of co-workers to achieve required quality and production schedules
Ability to problem solve and take immediate action on safety / quality / forming issues
Interacts with all levels of the Organization to achieve company goals
Meets company metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and material
The Leadperson A – Carpenter Shop will proficiently maintain all prerequisites of the Journeyperson and Molder A and B labor grades.
Provide input to Supervisor – Production in planning manpower utilization within department with regard to co-worker skill level.
Directs daily activities to achieve planned production schedule by making decisions based on complexity of the job/product and input from the Supervisor – Production.
Responsible for communication with co-workers on a regular basis including but not limited to: conducting Tool Box Talks, MDI meetings, etc.
Maintains and submits on time, all records and reports necessary and/or assigned, including but not limited to: CBO’S, production/schedule reports, material usage, and Tool Box Talk forms.
Work with engineering/drafting on more difficult forming pieces (dimensions and layout).
Maintain all department equipment, inventory and order parts and supplies, necessary to meet production/service requirements.
Be familiar with the requirements of all customers and suppliers, both internal and external and meet these requirements.
6S – required to meet and support daily, weekly and monthly 6S goals and objectives.
SAP training (min. input function material usage) The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Concrete and/or construction experience, preferred
3 years precast / pre-stress industry, preferred
Good communication / follow up skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to manage / lead a team while maintaining company polices
Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks on a daily basis / set direction
Ability to read & interpret blue prints, required
Valid Driver’s License Required Working for
