Overview:
The Foreman will lead a team of refuse collection personnel, ensuring that all collection activities are performed safely and efficiently. This position is critical for maintaining operational excellence and compliance with the contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily waste collection activities and manage crew performance. Ensure all personnel are trained on safety protocols and operational procedures. Monitor equipment and vehicle maintenance, reporting any issues promptly. Assist in scheduling collections and coordinating with the Superintendent. Address any on-site issues or concerns, providing immediate solutions.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a supervisory role within waste management or refuse collection. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in waste collection. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
