Job Description

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – 2ND SHIFT

We’re working with a leading food processing company in Southeast Pennsylvania that’s seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to oversee daily production operations, ensuring that production goals are met safely and efficiently. As a key member of the leadership team, you will motivate and lead a team of production associates, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow continuity. This role will involve managing production activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and upholding safety protocols. This is an essential position for someone ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced production environment.

Wilmington, DE Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and food safety standards (e.g., SQF, HACCP, GMP).
Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support training initiatives.
Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and KPI tracking.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and materials management teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
Conduct shift meetings and ensure effective communication across shifts.
Enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing/food production environment.
Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) required throughout the shift.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
