About This Role:
Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations. You will be part of a team working to improve lives globally through medical technology innovation. The Senior Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations leads broad manufacturing activities in the development of capital and disposable medical devices and instruments and provides leadership to a team of manufacturing operations staff.
What You Will Do:
Develops schedule and workforce requirements, resolves issues across manufacturing operations Analyzes manufacturing process flows for quality enhancements, cost reduction, and throughput. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with functional groups. Manages and develops the team to ensure performance meets and/or exceeds business and operational goals and objectives. Provides line management to direct reports, including training, performance management, professional development, and coaching.
Qualifications Required skills:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a product development-related or business operations discipline such as accounting/data analytics, or a combination of education, training and relevant experience
3 – 6 years of relevant work experience, including 1 year in a leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
Good knowledge of company people management policies and procedures, including hiring, performance management, corrective action, and compensation administration
Good people management and mentoring skills including coaching, interviewing, and providing feedback and recognition
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
Ability to manage team resources to ensure attainment of departmental objectives
