Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description SAIC is looking for a Supply Tech/Waterjet to work on a contract located in Hanahan, SC.
Job Responsibilities:
Will be primarily tasked with performing moderate to complex vehicle integration task to include metal work, welding, and reviewing the customers drawings and providing feedback. Provide assistance to related support areas, including but not limited to kitting, logistics, and quality. Will need to be able to read and understand metal fabrication drawings and define plans to perform additive and subtractive manufacturing functions. Support engineering activities such as design, test, and fabrication. Work safely in a Machine Shop environment. Communicate with leadership, other team members, and the customer.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Associates in related discipline and one (1) year related experience; OR High School and two (2) year related experience.
Required experience:
Must be able to safely complete all the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment, including but not limited to the following: Experience operating a water jet and other CNC machining tools. Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis. Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, or squatting for extended periods. A familiarity with machine shop equipment, quality tools, or hand tools needed for metal work. Familiar with the use and operation of power tools is necessary. Able to obtain a Forklift License. Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Required clearance:
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Active DOD clearance accepted. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
